Olympic Committee President, Ouranios Ioannides,
optimism for Cyprus as a competitor and as a host in the
XIII Games of the Small States of Europe, in an
interview with the weekly newspaper 'Sports Sunday'.

Cyprus Sports Organisation and the European Olympic

With regards to volunteers
he said, "It is not just the numbers that are important.
We have a high turn-out of volunteers and would like to
warmly thank everyone that has shown interest. The
sector in which we faced the biggest problem was finding
experienced drivers for our VIP guests but this has been
