NICOSIA, 3 June 2009 - Extensive Media coverage of the athletics events at the Track and Field National Stadium was the fact by the end of Day 1 at the XIII Games of the Small States of Europe. Asdis Hjalmsdottir’s gold medal in the Women's Javelin Throw, Johanna Ingadottir’s gold in the Women's Triple Jump and Steinn Karlsson's gold in the men's 5,000m are in prior position at Icelandic website www.blb.is. Furthermore, there is extensive report for the results of all athletes from Iceland, as well as the Basketball games against Malta, in both men and women.
